Standard & Poor's lifted Brazil's sovereign credit to "BBB-" on Wednesday, giving it coveted investment grade status.
This move reflects a growing awareness of the maturity of Brazilian institutions and a policy environment that has reduced external debt burdens and eased a formerly onerous business and investment regime.
Strategic Solutions Director, Marvin Cole states "This long awaited upgrade will allow significant inflows of capital from institutional investors previously unable to invest in the country due to its junk rating. Our clients are already seeing increased interest from major US funds looking to conclude their first Brazilian deal."

Strategic Solutions announces the opening of its Asian regional headquarters in Shanghai.
